Chinese Writing Course - Intermediate

Introduction: It is designed for students who have completed Elementary written course or with equivalent competence in Chinese writing, emphasizing reading skills and writing comprehension, with more exposure to grammar points.

Objectives:  After the 36 hours introduction lesson, student are expected
to recognize 10 types of Chinese radicals, 300 Chinese characters, be
able to read short stories and write simple sentences. 

Students will be exposed to more terms and expressions in Chinese
characters based on approximately 1000 additional vocabulary items
and related patterns and expressions. Students will be trained to have
language proficiency at sentence level.

Requirement: Students who pass the Mandarin/Cantonese beginner writing course.

• Expectation: Students are expected to know around 1500 intermediate level Chinese Characters in the 60 hours lessons which provide materials to help student to smooth their reading and writing skills. They shouldnˇt have any problem when reading intermediate level Chinese stories and letters.
